In addition to creating fine handcrafted jewelry in its local workshops, Stittgen Fine Jewelry curates selected pieces from other companies that match our design and workmanship standards. Often this allows for manufacturing efficiencies, such as those in the creation of certain types of chains, which in turn allows us to provide the best product with the best value to our clients. At other times we are able to source a unique product line, thereby bringing pieces to our clients that cannot be found anywhere else in town. To achieve this, we travel the world to not just look at new products, but also to meet with the principals and learn about their manufacturing process and their commitment to quality.
A few such meetings took place at the 2017 Inhorgenta jewelry show in Munich, Germany. Stittgen owners, Selina and Mobeen Ladak, visited several top European brands over several days and got to know the owners of these brands and their products. We were particularly impressed by quality brands with unique strengths. One such brand is Jorg Heinz, with their state-of-the-art hidden mechanisms that allow one piece of jewelry to transform into another (have us show you one of their “Magic Pendants”). Another impressive brand we got to know was IsabelleFa, with their bold, clean designs and outstanding finish. We were at the Awards Gala in Munich when IsabelleFa won the Brand of the Year award in the Fine Jewelry category. It was a pleasure to be able to congratulate Isabelle and her family at the gala – not to mention dance the night away during the ensuing celebrations!
Stittgen Fine Jewelry was therefore delighted to be able to bring a varied collection of IsabelleFa pieces to Vancouver for the first time. On the evening of November 22, 2018, our clients were invited to join us for some wine and hors d’oeuvres while trying on exquisite pieces from this collection. The event was followed by two days of public viewing of this beautiful collection.
The event attendees enjoyed the cocktail party atmosphere and appreciated the opportunity to try on high quality German designs not available anywhere in Vancouver. A few lucky clients placed orders just in time for delivery before Christmas.
