On Friday, July 28, 2006, the rooftop deck above Stittgen Fine Jewelry was the venue for Hardy Hansen’s Tribute to Frank Sinatra, a fundraiser for the cancer clinic at Lions Gate Hospital.
Hardy Hansen, who himself has battled cancer, sang his heart out with rousing renditions of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ classics. Guests enjoyed a glass of wine and sampled the wide variety delicious finger food as they watched the boats go by on the warm, sunny evening. The guests included Dr. Paul Klimo, head of oncology at Lions Gate Hospital, MP Don Bell and West Vancouver mayor Pamela Goldsmith-Jones who did a hilarious skit with emcee David C. Jones.
The evening included a silent auction and a fashion show with jewelry by Stittgen Fine Jewelry. The event was a small, intimate affair, yet, thanks to the generosity of our guests, we were able to raise over $20,000 for the cancer clinic. A big Thank You to all our guests and donors.
