In late June, Stittgen Fine Jewelry celebrated the 20th anniversary of the opening of their West Vancouver store by hosting an elegant cocktail party for some of its long-term clients. Almost 100 guests arrived in style on a beautiful summer evening. Those that needed a ride were chauffeured in the flagship electric Mercedes EQS, and others took advantage of the valet parking.
On arrival guests were treated to a glass of prosecco before either going into the boutique to check out the latest jewelry pieces on display, or towards the front patio where a jazz trio was playing new and old favorites. The band members were some of the best musicians in town, including Juno-nominated artists.
The open bar was serving not only a variety of wines, but also the evening’s signature drink, the “The Violet Viola”. The eye-catching purple Empress Gin-based cocktail was topped with an edible viola flower. Meanwhile, the catering team was busy preparing and serving a variety of hors d’oeuvres, including lamb popsicles and the ever-popular soup shots. The dessert buffet followed as the evening’s festivities continued.
A lot of excitement was created when it came time to draw the winner of the Mercedes raffle consisting of a Formula 1 team jacket, baseball cap and a 4-day experience in one of the new Mercedes electric luxury vehicles. The guests were reminded to take an up-close look at the Maybach and SL roadster parked in front, which had been turning heads all evening. Selina and Mobeen Ladak gave a brief speech thanking the guests for their support, and acknowledging the exceptional work done by the Stittgen team.
Based on the comments from the guests and the glowing social media posts, the event was a resounding success. The community truly came together to celebrate the success of a local small business that has grown into a reputable brand.
